A: The answer to this question depends on your environment, family, guests, and where you will be using the torches. By far, the safest tiki torches to use are electric tiki torches as they are battery operated and there is no real fire. They can be used indoors and out. Oil tiki torches and propane tiki torches are also safe to use if situated away from flammable objects and the children are either taught to stay away from them, or there are limited amounts of children in the area.
