Steel tiki torch

Steel tiki torchA steel tiki torch is much like its bamboo counterpart: it is still great for lighting up backyard barbecues, and it is still simple to set up (just stake it into the ground). However, a steel tiki torch has a bit of a modern flair that its bamboo tiki counterpart lacks.

It is easy to picture a row of steel torches lighting up the pathway or the patio of a very modern home with very sophisticated guests. In fact, a steel tiki torch would fit right in with such a setting.

And a stainless steel tiki torch will fit into such a setting for many years to come – it will continue to look great, even after many years. Just as stainless steel has become very popular for kitchen appliances, it is popular for backyard gatherings, as well.

However, if you only plan to use your torches no more than once every few years, it is not worth the extra cost that a steel tiki torch entails. Rather, you should stick with a bamboo torch. But if you know that you will use them often, a few times a summer (and once you have them, you will likely use them even more than you had expected), a steel tiki torch or two (or three or four... or twenty) can be well worth the extra cost.
